Astrix have successfully supplied IT technical staff to schools and other organisations on a weekly or monthly basis. This is normally to cover long term absences, maternity leave or project work.
Most of the clients that have taken up this service are already support client of Astrix and as such we already know their network and staff very well. This ensures that when we supply an engineer to the client, there is not a long period of learning and adjustment to the environment, we can just get on with the work, keeping disruption to a minimum. Project work is always difficult for IT departments as they are normally running at 100% capacity in daily operations, so when a project is planned we can either supply a member of staff to help with the project or cover one of the in house IT team to leave their position and carry out the project work.
