IASME Governance is an information assurance standard developed by the IASME Consortium to allow small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a supply chain to attest their level of cyber security and data protection.
It is available as an annual certification at two levels: IASME Governance and Audited IASME Governance (also known as IASME Gold).
All levels always include Cyber Essentials and can also include GDPR Readiness.
IASME Governance is good for ensuring that thorough attention is given to an organisations policies and procedures and is viewed as a good, cost-effective alternative to the international standard ISO27001.
The certification process involves the applicant completing a self-assessment questionnaire of around 170 questions (these can be previewed here), us marking the answers, and, if required, us recommending solutions.
Audited IASME Governance
The Audited IASME Governance (also known as IASME Gold) certification process involves us attending onsite, verifying the answers given in the self-assessment questionnaire, and, if required, us recommending solutions.
